I've seen Rocky kick thirteen out of thirteen goals from different parts of the field ????????

He may be our next Sam IMO got great skills ????
Yes he might be our next Sam and he has got skills but he still has a weak kick.
Frano Botica had a limited range distance wise. He needed to be in the opposition half but in terms of accuracy Frano was dead eye partly because he concentrated on timing and aim rather than distance. Frano used to often get them to almost 'creep' over.

Distance wise Joe Lydon and Pat were the best I have seen with Pat being far more accurate from conversion distance out wide etc.

Honestly, Hampshire is the best kicker we have had in a while whilst Sharrock looks similarly good.

I often wondered whether Botica purposely made them just "drop over", it happened so consistently. A master kicker who passed on his knowledge to Farrell. Perhaps Deacs is on the same game now, I hope?!

What about Sarginson? Can he kick?

With who as the pair? Worked very well back then but who do you have in mind now?

One other area we will miss regarding Pat is his goal line drop outs.

The distance he got on them was fantastic and it often made the disadvantage of having to drop out far less that it ought to have been.

We had that with Andy Farrell as well.

I'll answer my own question now I've had a look around - I don't think he has ever been a goal kicker.

In terms of the other kicking during a game, Matty Smith is capable of doing all that. He can get good length and is an accurate kicker too

And I reckon we had more 40/20s this year than in all the previous put together!

I would think Matty smith will do fine, especially if he focuses on kicking in training.

As Dave O has said I think we will miss Pat's booming drop outs that go beyond the half way line. I don't think anyone will do that in next years squad.
