Re: Steve Prescott
So very sad, my sincere condolences to his family. The word legend is, in my opinion, banded about too easily in sport but Steve justifies the title in every sense. The world will be all the poorer without him.

Truly sad news
An inspiration to so many
He never became a victim of his illness he fought it and he beat it by leaving behind memories and a legacy that nothing will ever be able to change

Re: Steve Prescott
A man who set off on a mission when he contracted the illness and completed it time and time again.
A man who spoke with actions not words.
Steve must be honoured, the rugby league world as someone to look up too.
A honourable true gentleman.

Permanent reminder of a great ex. player.
Following the sad death of Steve Prescott, surely the annual 'Man of Steel' award should be renamed the 'The Steve Prescott Award' or even the 'The Steve Prescott Man of Steel Award'.
In spite of his problem and the way he carried on regardless, he was truly a 'Man of Steel'
