Huddersfield tickets

My nephew bought some tickets for the huddersfield game from school but when he opened them they are for the north stand.
His mum then rang the ticket office and was told that the north stand was open to wigan fans for this game . Is this the norm for the offers they run for schools as it just seems a bit odd to sell tickets to kids in the away stand.

The club tried this last season and it was successful and many felt they should continue to do so in 2014. So when a low turnout of away fans is expected the North Stand would become at least part available to Wigan fans. IIRC, they did the same for Huddersfield last season.

I have been in the North Stand on 3 or 4 occasions mainly when Heinz have bought it and it is interesting watching the game from there. The sound is better in that stand too.
