Pat developed into one of the best kickers, so whoever it is better start training as hard as Pat did lol.

As for the drop outs I'm sure with practice and technique someone else could start getting a decent distance on them

You can't judge Matty on last night's kicking, at stains he was very good but yesterday the weather and wind was terrible. Danny Brough on last night's performance is the worst kicker in super league, everyone knows this isn't true and the weather was a major factor the same goes for Matty.

Well said Kali, one poor kicking performance shouldn't see a knee jerk reaction.

Fairs fair Matty Smith has been practising hard all pre season. Whatever the reason even the experienced Brough seemed to struggle last night.

Agreed. He got one against Saints from the same spot as he missed the Burgess conversion last night. He didn't exactly get any easy sighters to set himself going in tough conditions either!

Broughs goal kicking in the first half was also poor. Brough also struggled for distance with his dropouts in the second half. Personally it looked like out in the middle the wind was far stronger, with the Giants having the benefit of the wind in the first half and making good use of it. Our kicking from open play however was very poor all through the match.
