Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

According to the RFL website, the seven full time Referee's are now Bentham, Child, Hicks, Roby, Silverwood, Thaler, Turley.

Thomason must be first choice reserve when any of the above are not available.

Billy was awreet. He gave me his pass to the Wakefield Players' Lounge the day we beat them 72-6. I remember sitting with Edwards and Gregory when this little lad came along with his autograph book. Shaun signed it, Andy signed it and passed it to me.

To this day, some poor bugger in Wakefield must be scratching his head and asking "Who the bloody hell is Stuart Magrath?"!:D

He was no worse than some we have today!

On reflection, neither were Campbell, Holdsworth, Jackson, Lindop, Smith, Whitfield and the Connelly brothers in more recent times.
