I have no problem with what SW has done and I am sure you will see Josh firing on all cylinders very soon.

I do because I don't believe public criticism ever motivates anyone at all.

I don't have a problem with him dropping the player if he feels it justified but SW still needs to learn when to stop volunteering TMI to the press IMO.

Josh has played nothing short of World Class RL under SW, he has also known him for many years and worked with him day in day out, I will trust SW on this 'criticism' of Josh to bring the best RL out of him again, not that it is really anything to 'critical' IMO anyway!!

Josh isn't going anywhere and this isn't the first time Shaun has decided to give a player a kick up the ass, Wane knows how to handle his players so there's no need to second guess his decisions.

Funny how he managed to single out Charnley against roosters when worst man on field by a country mile was Bowen. Charnley scored 2 tries for god sakes against best club side in world.
Also T.B.W A hernia operation can be a major operation depends on each person and how bad it is. I know I had one and could not walk proper for four weeks after surgery never mind back to full playing fitness.I also know off many other atheletes out for 2 months plus with hernia ops.

As far as sporting injuries go for Top level Professionals and working in the environment myself, a hernia is far from a major operation for top sports people and I have seen top level sports people back playing within 4 weeks. Yes as with any operation it has it's risks and some people take longer to recover, especially if they don't have day in day out treatment and recovery after it.

Anyone with even the basic familiarity with Josh knows he's down to earth, happy at Wigan and knows he's lucky to play for us. He also knows the feeling is mutual, plus work with one of his best mates and a move has never been mentioned.

So it comes down to what you want to believe

Sorry, but is not down to what I or anyone else believes, wants to believe or chooses to believe. What will happen will happen. And I certainly wouldn't believe a word to leave an agents mouth, be it Andi Peters, Andy Clarke or Andy Pandy.

Kaii, you seem to have the 'in' on Josh Charnley as this isn't the first time you have spoken with apparent authority. So how would you answer the rumours that a) He has agreed terms with an NRL club for 2015, b) He would like to leave early and c) He has sold his house in readiness for his departure?

Josh hasn't sold his house, he's renting his first one out & has bought another one!

Two games in and the rest of the season to go. He will come good. Did not agree with wane bringing this into the media. A good talking to in secret would have been the order of the day in my book. Agreed he was not at his best against Sydney that was obvious to all without it being highlighted in the media.We all know what Josh is capable of and we will be applauding him long and loud the next time he scores.Leave it behind closed doors Shaun.

Completely agree with keeping things like this in house, disappointed really to come home & see this

Last season Wane was criticised for not being open and honest about rumours surrounding Lauaki (amongst many other players also tbh) and letting those said rumours surrounding the players worsen by either not denying or explaining the situation.

Some people cannot hold water at this club and the fact he was either "dropped" or "not picked" would have come out irrespective. Then the gossip mongers and doom sayer would have had a field day when they revealed they "heard it from a mate in the know in the pub"

Now it is in the open and Josh has to perform. Personally I don't think he was fit for the WCC and should not have been played but that is the risk you take with any match-winner. Is this really such a big deal?

personally I don't like single players being highlighted in the media this could of gone under the "there are individuals who need to improve and they know who they are" banner.

I don't think this is the same as the EL saga as he disappeared for weeks, not just sat on the bench for one game.

I would for example like to know what has gone on with Sam Hopkins but it seems the gaps that need filling are left silent

Think we do Wane a slight disservice. Has he done this to protect Bowen from anymore negative comments. Your right he was not the worst player but maybe there are things going on even you do not know about.
