Maybe Wane should deliver his half time talk before the kickoff?

Thought we were fortunate with that call for a forward pass at the start of the second half. Looked perfectly fine to me, and not sure we'd have come back from 12-points down.

Good to see Thornley score a hat-trick, Smith kick 5 in a row, and a much better performance in the second half (couldn't have been worse obviously).

I think it was forward and its the angle of the camera that makes it look ok. The player receiving the ball hands go back but they are still in front of the player passing the ball even though he is leaning back.

Time for SL to take the NRL approach and 2 ref on the pitch.

For me it left his hands and went backwards, then caught the player's hip that moved the ball forward before he got his hands on it.

But either way, we were fortunate to be on the right end of the call (although were on the wrong end on others, so I guess they balance out).

We're playing a lot like St Helens were at this point last season. They showed that it matters not what you play like early doors as long as you can peak for the play-offs. I wonder how much we can progress though. Hull KR aren't a good side, as Cas weren't really either last week - and you'd expect even a half-baked Wigan team to cruise both of those games.

Next Thursday should be interesting.

Gouldings defence is awful!! He can tackle but he is constantly running out the line or coming in too early. Sw really need to work on his positioning. He did it in the WWc he was constantly flying out the line trying to intercept or put a big hit on.

He leaves josh with far too much to do
