Bloody interception try. Luckily Ratchford fluffed the kick. 4-12

Think that result will silence the critics.

Excellent win with superb defence. Thought Bateman and Burgess were both outstanding. Wire look all at sea with ball in hand. Onwards and upwards!!

No it won't. DaveO will be postulating all the way back to Chester how he can find fault with that result!

Only joking Dave. Even you must have been relaxed on that journey home!

The huge + was that we won without our best player!

Fantastic defence on show tonight. Very solid performance, especially considering the conditions. What a difference a week makes.

Burgess and Bateman are two new stars in the side this season. Only going to get better as well.

The forwards gave Westwood a going over as well, and much deserved as the ref wasn't going to do anything about the cheating bully.
Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

Really buzzing after that...
On perennial debates - our kicker was better than theirs :D
Burgess is already brilliant, and offers more threat than the Legend Pat did in his last couple of years. When Josh stops sulking we'll kill teams on both wings.
Bateman is going to be a fabulous player. A wonderful signing.
Our props stand up and are counted when it matters. And they're so young! We've years of improvement in front of us.
