Re: Happy Easter! A Langtree win
Five in a row, five in a row, you've bottled & lost it five times in a row

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Lots of deserved mentions for Lockers, Bateman, Budgie etc. Could I add:
MM who was immense (top tackler on 41 and only 1 penalty conceded)
Scott Taylor (25 tackles, and his 114 metres at an average gain of 8.77 was only bettered by Lomax on Saints side) How many minutes did he do? It felt like 60.
Matty Smith, who is set to become a Wigan hero - great kicking game, terrier-like tackling, never eases up.
I thought we were a team with potential but needed another year to come good. This game proved me wrong: we are good and in another year will be even better!

Thought Green was creative in the first half, good showing from Jordan James and nice to see Taylor bossing the middle...

After a 2nd successive defeat, Nathan Brown is the one with Easter Egg all over his face. Hope he knows his Creed, because Saturday is his last chance for resurrection. Personally, I envisage another crucifixion!Panchitta Marra wrote:Someone's been listening, to James Martin on his Saturday morning cooking program, with no eggsageration.TWO EYED WARRIOR wrote:Im eggstatic ,its an eggscelent feeling having bragging rights on easter weekend !

I had to settle for the TV "darn sarf" as we were away for a few days (back in time for today's game) and my abiding memory will be Eddie Hemmings yelling "there is no support" somewhat gleefully as Lockers charged off on his break only for him to lob the 40m pass to Sarginson.
And Ryan Hoffman's tweet about it!
