So why post"anyone but Liverpool"?
Re: Who will win the Premier League?
Well as someone who grew up with Colin Bell and Francis Lee as my heros it's been a good weekend of sport for me!
Re: Who will win the Premier League?
I was happy with the outcome despite supporting Man Utd. Strangely, I find local Man U fans are more anti City whereas outsider Man U fans like myself are more anti Liverpool.

I haven't got a fan club & if I did I'm sure cp wouldn't want to be in itWhelley Warrior wrote:The 'they' being your fan club of cpwigan.josie andrews wrote:Do you think they are going to stop being friends with me because of a sarcastic remark? Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Who will win the Premier League?
I would as would anybody but we would have to form a line behind countless present and past Wigan players / staff.

Could not have been timed better with a situation where more money is now being invested in the other Manchester club.cpwigan wrote:Let me see 25 years, his age and to finish on a high :eh:Whelley Warrior wrote:Together with a abundance of better quality foreign players than what they have had in recent years under the present ownership and the class of ninety two, with the exception of Giggs all gone.cpwigan wrote:Utd have won it more than anybody else and in the past and recently a core of home grown youth players have been at the heart of success.
Today, only two or three quality home grown players are in the squad.
Yes, United have won more trophies than any other club but that was when their name alone could attract the best young players in this country and many of the better players from abroad.
Why do you think Sir Alex got out?
Very wise man was Sir Alex!
