Joel Tomkins???

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

Agreed.

I would have much rather the money have been spent on an established second rower playing in the Super League or NRL, not one who has failed to make an impact in union, has had a lack of game time and is no doubt going to have some struggles adapting to life back in league.
Was he not an established 2nd rower/centre in Superleague before he went to union? Failed to make an impact in Union but represented his country!! His lack of game time has been due to injury has it not? I don't think he will struggle to adapt back to a game he has played since he could probably walk. Sorry but if it's true I am delighted to have a international class 2nd rower back at Wigan that won trophies the first time he was here and never let us down, even when playing out of position!!

Maybe he just realised Union was s**** and wanted to come back to a real sport!!

It is a fact that in his first full season at Saracens, Tomkins had the highest offload stats in the Aviva Premiership. I don't think we are currently blessed with the best centres in Superleague. Give him a chance.

N'Tother ????????
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

If he comes back then I think he will make you eat your words. One thing about Joel is that he is ultra competitive and second best will not do!

I will sit on the fence with this if he signs.
It was "Wigan who" when he took the coin to join yawnion and with a number of years left on his contract if memory serves me right.
It will take a while for me to take to him again but that's a failing of mine.
I remember the times where his effort was lacking just before he left, a good departing memory always sticks.
Just my opinion but we all have them.
