At 3pm yesterday George Williams had a cast on his hand for a scaphoid tunnel injury to his hand, he wanted to take it off to play but Peter his farther advised him not to, and left the decision to George. He has obviously decided to remove it to play, but you may now understand why I did not want to let the opposition know too soon before the game.

Never doubted you mate . I know you always have good info together with KITD.

Let's hope he gets through the game.

I guess Hampshire can step in if he can't make it.

You can see the strapping on Georges left hand and it is effecting his confidence. Lockers to stand off Bateman to loose forward

Half the team were not match fit, flowers etc etc , they were bunched and not got the energy to drive the ball in. Worst effort from Wigan I have seen in a long time, best team won.

Were Taylor and Goulding dropped or where they injured? If the former our coach is big reason why we lost today risking players not match fit. He may have thought they deserved dropping for whatever reason but if he did drop them he needs to put his hand up and except be was an idiot.

As to Williams if he went in an injury that is another mistake from Wane with Hamshire on the bench for most of the match.

George should never have played. Other players, Flower being a classic example were far from fit. Players listed as injured and not selected were actually fit, whilst one or two fit players were not selected.
