Read my Les Dawson thread Jack. I was there today and if anyone believes Bradford beat us, they are deluded. We handed over 2 points which were no use to either team. Wane knows where he wants us to finish and the hubcap does not figure in his plans.

Let's be honest here, you don't destroy a team 84-6 then lose to a much weakened version. I've watched better games played by Under 8s!
Just read your Les Dawson post Kitt. Your bang on there mate.

And that will never happen while Sky and the Super League have anything to do with it.

I wonder if the attitude of the fans/media that the match has little/no baring on the Grand Final/Play Offs rubs off on the players?

Attitude was not right today. Is anyone bothered though as long as we win the Grand Final?

Worst we have played for along time. Lads looked like they had never played together and far too many dropped balls and penalties

No, no and thrice no. Winning at Odsal means jack. Winning at Old Trafford means everything whereupon everything previous is forgotten!

For those of us who went to Odsal and witnessed that display it mattered.

Can anyone who did go tell me, when Josh dropped the ball over the line in a tackle wasn't that from a Bradford knock on and a free play? I and those around me thought it was, is that right? Hicks restarted with a 20 mtr tap.

BTW not having a go at th ref 'cos we lost. He wasn't good but we were 10 times worse.

We were all asking the same but I think he called that Williams dropped the ball backwards from that Sarginson effort to rush him, so it wasn't a free play. Playing it back in my mind I don't remember Hicks signaling a free play. We did have our chances and I would also like to see that obstruction call again but if we had sneaked something it wouldn't really have been deserved on the 80 show. On the radio someone suggested that is a great example for why the bonus point shouldn't be taken on, Wigan would have got a point from that, we didn't deserve to. Attitude and intensity not up to scratch from the players.

We are conceding too many points and losing too many games against the poorer teams, but what else can you expect with the present top eight format which has not only lower the intensity, but allowed clubs with a large squad like Wigan to rotate players more than they should do and lead to defeats against teams we should win easily.

Hopefully, the play off format next season of only the top four will make club's think more about winning every game and not just getting into the top eight, and at the end of the season, suddenly producing a team of first choice, fully fit players, just for the play off.

The performance yesterday was not just poor, but made it look like it was 'feel sorry for Bradford day' with the lack of effort.
