If it includes Matty Smith new deal or Sam Tomkins returns in 2015 or 2016 then i will be a happy bunny.
I'm reckoning big one 5 plus a new contract for someone or a squad signing like Donaldson. I did hear the Donaldson one at the game yesterday. He makes a lot of tackles but isn't top class. We can make him better but I don't think he will ever be a top class player.

To announce something at 5:00am would suggest an NRL signing or a 'Big One Five'.

The picture is a massive giveaway. We are due a Big One Five and it is around this time of the year. Last years was against Hull in August.

However, if the announcement was the Big One Five, alongside a signing? What an outstanding piece of PR that would be.

How is Leuluai not a step forward? The guy is 29, and IMO is class. What would fans be saying if Wigan RL signed a player of his calibre from Oz who had never played for us before? They would be loving it. I sincerely hope it is him coming back. He has still got plenty of quality years ahead of him. Better to have him than not have him.

If this BIG announcement is the big 5, then the club has made itself look like a right arse! Laughable comes to mind. But....I think/hope it will be a big, big signing.

Have Parra lost patience with Moose's injury problems and released him to return to Wigan? Who knows.....

Leuluai lacks the organisation/kicking game of say Smith. Leuluai's strengths were in his footwork, running game and defense. In some respects he could compliment Smith, but he can't play at six. Travis Burns is a better player - would love us to sign him.

I would take Leuluai at 9 if it didn't mean Powell/Williams/Hampshire having to lose out on game time.

Will always have fond memories of that Grand Final performance and the big hit on Fa'savalu, but his time has set on his Wigan career for me.

Tomkins/Mossop still have a lot to prove in the NRL. Can see Mossop coming back at some point - have my doubts about Sam.

Wigans tweet "Big news of a popular Warriors event returning to the 2014 calendar coming up later on this morning"

Looks like just the big one game. I'm sure telling fans you have big news at 5am is going to be a really popular way of promoting an event, it's not like we're just coming off the back of a humiliating loss as it is, Wigans PR machine strikes again

Big 1 Five v Leeds :exc: :exc:

If true, not such a BIG announcement :exc:
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I've just tweeted that that was the anticlimax of the year.
