Roy Heaney ex Bolton Wanderer from the dark days
Gary Henley Smith New Zealand sprinter and absolultely terrified

Steve Davies -the Wonderboy from Leigh-did nothing
Scrum half
Ness Flowers -for the name alone
Stand off
Tim Smith -terrible

Steve Breheny -Looked ferocious and that was it
Gill Dudson -Just nowhere near good enough

Ray Martland-spent virtually his whole career on his nose -tryless

Struggled in certain positions but numerous candidates for full back and wingers

Wouldn't have put Steve Davies in there. Thought him and Dave Willicombe were a decent centre pairing in what was a very mediocre side!

In hindsight probably unfair on Steve Davies-just that expectations were very high and he was pretty ordinary. david willecombe was an excellent centre.
Forgot about Mark Bell-agreed he should have been nowhere first team-we must have been pretty dire at the time.
