Why was Harris record with Wales in the World cup so very poor.
The teams Wales faced weren't world beaters by any means. Italy, USA and Fiji.
I have seen nothing in Harris that makes me think that he is or has been a good coach, but I haven't studied him like others maybe have.
Salford have improved significantly under his coaching IMO and more importantly (to me anyhow) I have seen 2 very nice adaptations / variations of the 2nd man play. Strikes me that he is a very good club coach working day in / day out with his players rather than a rep coach and his attacking plays indicate a clever mind.

Someone at the club should be held accountable for these appalling drops in standards and the diabolical way the club is playing and the total unprofessionalism of this entire charade. Grand Final - who is anyone kidding. Wigan currently can't even beat a team relegated to the Championship next year. Indolence should never be rewarded. I cannot understand why all the fans are so dewy-eyed about the current team: they are horrendous and don't deserve to win anything. Of 4 possible trophies we could have won this year, 3 have already gone with the team pulverised and hammered on all fronts! That's a 75% failure rate. Can anybody see them doing anything? I think not. If they had even two or three half decent players perhaps something would happen for the good but I think the team will win nothing this season and nothing next if they continue with thus awful lot!

Last season was identical Wane chopped and changed then hit form in the playoffs, and being honest because of the lack of quality in super league we can afford to do it but time will tell

I'm a bit of both. In any one game I believe we're going to play well and come out on top - we are capable.

But over the longer term of 3 or 4 games this season we don't look like we're going to win them all. Nothing supports that this year and even worse the only big game we've played this year we lost.

Still hope we win the GF though.

Definitely a realist. I am Ian Lenegan's biggest supporter in his strategy to create a 'pipeline' from the very successful iunder 19's into the first team and to utilise previously successful Wigan players as coaches and mentors for our team. I have to say, however, that I have not felt this season that we have a trophy-winning team. I am not being defeatist or wise after the event it's just that I feel we have a lack of talent and that the club pursues 'bargain basement' signings (as witness the Wakefield forward whose name escapes me).
To illustrate my point, look at our threequarter line. It has probably been the single most discussed topic all season. I don't think it compares favourably with our rivals at the top of the league and I don't see any changes in the near future.
Sorry to be all doom and gloom but we need some 'game-changing' players. We don't seem to have any at present.
A word of encouragement during a failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success.

How many teams have won all 4 trophies available? How many teams have won a treble? In fact how many times has a double been won in the modern era?

Pulverised and hammered? Bit OTT!

Leeds also lost to Bradford and London.

Who is giving out any rewards?

This awful lot where 90-95% won the double last year!?

I agree things aren't great at the moment but even criticism needs to remain realistic!!

What bothers me is ending up in 3rd or 4th position, as it will mean a away tie in the first round of the play offs.

Surely, they must want to finish 1st or 2nd?
