I think Powell was always a clever player rather than incredibly gifted naturally. He has transferred that RL intelligence to both Featherstone and now Castleford.

IMO, a coach like Powell should be involved in some capacity with England/GB, At this stage he looks a potential future England/GB coach. Bringing back the War Of The Roses would also allow potential coaches representative coaching opportunities.

I thought he already was assistant England coach!

cpwigan wrote:It is depressing to see Wigan underachieve through IMO their own stupidity. It matters not what the sport is you still have to achieve essentials in every game to produce the cherry on the cake!

If you do not go forward and put the opposition on the back foot there is simply no point going sideways. It becomes counter productive. Sporting self harm!

Nothing will change under Wane. He believes he knows best which was reflected in his arrogant comment re Maguire's Wigan and how he would do better.

I wish fans could see a comparison of how much effort / energy our players have to use win or lose compared to the opposition. I suggest our players even winning games do FAR FAR more work than the opposing team / players. Hence, the continued glut of mistakes and penalties conceded match after match. FATIGUE = ERRORS = LOSSES. In SL every other club runs a half marathon whereas Wigan run a full marathon!

I will be doing a rain dance come the play offs.
cpwigan, Josie has asked you to give it a rest about the fact you don't like Wane.

I am beginning to think you and Menpond are one and THE SAME!

READ; I neither like or dislike any Wigan coach past or present. The only thing I care about is how they impact upon Wigan RLFC. Now, if you are incapable of understanding that then stop trolling.
