Who is on our overseas quota next year? Do we have any spare places?

GeoffN, strictly speaking Dallas has been in the UK long enough now to qualify for an EU passport!
If we wanted to bend the rules any more after our Irishman and our Scotsman we could!
Does Maurice have the gall though?

Ian, I'm surprised at you suggesting this, you europhobe! I'd hate to imagine how much they'd charge him for the priviledge, and there's now some silly exam that prospective citizens have to pass, mostly questions about what kind of benefits and scrounging can they do. I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle for just one more year.
