Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Chap right behind us (Wigan fan) with wife and two young kids - about 10 and 12 years - was effing horrendously, at both Wigan players and Saints fans, all the way through. Was asked by another fan with his daughter sat next to him to pack it in but just got a mouthful. Took a bottle with him and a steward came down and said he had to drink it in the concourse instead, but as he went off with his drink, got another volley of abuse as he made his way out across all the other people sat in that row.

Don't know what his wife or kids thought about it, if they did at all ?

Cheers everyone -guess as you say not isolated and on the increase - don't get to as many games as we'd like cos of work patterns-was a grim night all round -could have put up with it if neice and wife hadn't been there -wanted so much to hang on and beat the abusive sods- wouldn't have minded wearing a half eaten hotdog then and in haste to get away left my sodding wigan training top behind -here's to next year and getting our revenge -take care everyone

A die hard wigan warriors fan, her husband is a st Helens fan. Went to grand final at old Trafford last night. After the match she waited for her husband and was attacked by saints fans right outside the ground!!!! Grown men old enough to know better kicking the shit out of a woman on her own. You are f***ing scum! She was scared for her safety so left the ground and got lost, phone battery died couldn't ring her hubby to get help. Ended up near hope hospital where 2 security guards looked after her, charged her phone so she could get hold of husband to find her. It could have been so much worse, they were going to throw her in canal. Watch your backs you "hard men" there's cctv all around ground. Police will be informed today

I don't know if its true or not, just saw it on there.

There have been several mentions of it again today.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
