No mention of the WCC issue as we have a potential clash with Wigan Athletic.

We didn't speak to one another again for well over twelve months
It was because Wigan were playing in Perpignan on Easter Monday 2009 wasn't it. I remember we flew out on Good Friday morning and watched the Hull derby over there.
Was it really then? We went & stayed in Perpignan & everywhere was shut!

I'm almost sure at the fans forum he said it was to accommodate the latics & I told him he was a weak man allowing Whelan to make him break a 100 year old traditional fixture.

I'm sure cp was at that meeting too :conf:

But knowing my memory you're probably right. I could have sworn it was a May bank holiday Monday :eh:
I probably was Josie. I cannot remember the ins and out though as we seem to constantly move fixtures around. I was chatting with a Hull KR supporter this week and we were both lamenting the loss of the regular Sunday Afternoon RL fixtures.
