Yes I agree we are stuck with Shaun until we continue to free fall enough that IL says enough is enough.I was one of those that championed Shaun for head coach. He's had a go brought silverware to the club and I thank him for that. But something is not right within. And the results are speaking for themselves results are what count.I do support the lads but I don't support dumb tactics and the constant chatter to the media.Rather he said nothing and left it to Rads or someone more diplomatic.

Would've gone (jabs are still valid) were I not working a long, long way away. But after that result, I can't spake!

Scores on the doors please

To those who went to the Cas game would like to see your out of 10 rating for each player (The Players themselves no doubt read these posts so its wake-up call time lads!)

My expectation is that if you run out with the famous shirt on your back 7 is the minimum expected per game

Doing the maths:

13 players all at 7 = 91 out of 130 (the min requirement week in week out please!)

Scores please on the doors:

1. Matty Bowen
2. Josh Charnley
3.Anthony Gelling
4.Dan Sarginson
22.Dom Manfredi
16.Sam Powell
7.Matty Smith
17.Tony Clubb
9.Michael McIlorum
23.Lee Mossop
11.Joel Tomkins
12.Liam Farrell
14.John Bateman

6.George Williams
24.Taulima Tauta
25.Larne Patrick

Correct.I understand that he's very passionate but so are other coaches that don't run away with the mouth only to be left with egg on the face. Why do we have to talk to the media at all.We just need to do the talking on the field.I genuinely do applaud his passion for our club but I just wish he would engage the brain before changing gear.Anyway I've had my say on the matter I will leave the rest of this debate to those more eloquent of word than myself.

You are quite right but with the squad that he has assembled if he fails to make the top four then he should go. People will say that Wigan have no divine right to win trophies and obviously they are correct but there is a level of achievement that should be expected by our great club. If memory serves me right then I recall IFL saying that he expected the club to make one final each year, it will be interesting to see what happens if we don't!

Which is exactly the point I was making, posters can't rattle on about history when it suits one agenda ie. How good Maguire was! Then ignore history when it doesn't suit their agenda ie. Ignore what SW has achieved!!

Yes, but success doesn't last forever.
What is the one thing that brings down 'great people'?
Arrogance. He's arrogant. He's thick-headed (own words). He won the Double and thought he was the bees knees. Thought he'd taught the world, or at least the ESL, how to play rugby.

Everyone on here wants him to do well, but it might not happen.
Just look at this from the other side of the coin.

These are the people who brought Sean Long back to the club, signed Eddy Pettybourne who had a well documented record of depression and club/nation hopping (see Australian press), signed Matt Bowen AND then gave him another year's extension.

I could go on, and YES, they have done some good things, BUT they make mistakes. And if these mistakes keep going unchecked, then be very worried.

KR should be the one trying to sort this mess out. What's he doing, getting SW another coffee??

Anyway, just like to say that this site seems a bit more adult today. People are allowed views, they don't all have to be the same and snidey comments aren't very mature.

Thank you for your advice :)
