Pat Richards said it best to Milward last week Wigan have got rid of a lot of experience.

This was forced on us one season and we almost went down, the side lacks experience at centres and wing apart from Josh. And that is down to the great planning of the owner.

Saints sign 2 experienced players one especially useful at 6. We let a good 6 go and stick the wrong 2 players in that position. Too much obsession with youth and then let it go early and replace with a younger player who is not ready.

Nice job Mr IL we have gone from 2013 the best side in SL to midtable and lower due to your genius planning for the future. The future is bright the future is Saints.
IL is the answer and the problem.
With what Wane has i agree. But that side should be playing better than it is. Tonight was a game i expected to lose Leeds are decent at home but the previous games we have been crap.

Think you've pretty much summed it all up there.
SW inherited a good side from madge and it's slowly dismantled to the average side we are now.
I seriously doubt much will change this season and can't get excited about next.
Expect us to get points next week and another loss v saints and possibly Salford.
We will do well to finish top eight and if IL gets his wish and we play a match in London that's only two home matches in the Super Eight.

Leeds where pretty poor themselves, that just confirms how crap we are
Can't wait to be battling with Leigh and co to stay in superleague

And the perfect peg for the 6 shirt never gets a game.

i thought we looked lacking in ideas and looked scared to make a mistake it was a very strange opening 15 minutes the players to me looked nervous and we were again found sadly wanting in the skills department time and time again it breaks Down in the backs we need an experienced organiser urgently To replace Matty Smith
we have got two good wingers but because the play maker cannot organise the back line ithier attack threat is useless this situation has been going on like this for 12 months and with the lack of investment in the team we are putting up with 3rd rate players of the likes of Anthony Gelling I am very disappointed with our style of play we have no cutting edge something needs to happen quickly

My scores on the doors , out of 10, & remember no player wearing the famous shirt IMHO should be below SEVEN (7) as we don’t do average in Wigan

Warriors: Bowen - 5, Manfredi - 7, Gelling- 4, Sarginson- , Burgess- 6, Williams- 6, Smith- 6, Clubb- 5, McIlorum- 6, Mossop- 5 J Tomkin- 6, L Farrell- 5, Bateman- 6.

Replacements: Tautai- 6, Patrick, L - 4 Tomkins- 7, C Farrell- 6

A LOT OF AVERAGE PLAYERS GUYS & GALS from what I'm seeing this season!
