Proved my comments midweek wrong tonight. Just wish he could be more consistent. The pass he should have played Manfredi in is evidence of that.
Well played tonight Anthony, great game.

Very much this!!

Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

The most destructive centre performance I've seen from a Wigan player in years if he carries on like this he'll become a legend,as for the madman/genius debate you don't have to be a genius to be a madman but you need a touch of crazy to be a genius I believe Gelling falls into the 2nd category, could he become the nearest we've had to a Gene Miles?

IMHO he's a snakes & ladders player for what I see of him, sometimes he's ascending every rung on every ladder (just like to-nite e.g) on the board, other times the dice rolls against him & he keeps slip sliding away, to me he's never got to the top of the board (nearly tho but not passing out to Manfredi for a certain try early doors 2nd half prevented him winning the board game

More games to play tho - I await with interest

Dean Bell spoke highly of this young player and what Deano says always has to be respected and strongly considered in my book.

All the team love this guy simply because he's daft as a brush. I love him cos he's full of life, he lives it to the full, he is enjoying his rugby & is so very very appreciative of the chance Wigan have given him ????
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

You can see that with the way they celebrate when he scores, this lad will become a legend for Wigan he has massive potential. Lets hope we can keep hold of him!
