see this is the problem why great britain struggle against australia, the ozzies have about three to four top class players who can fill in the positions in the test squad where we are lucking if we can find two.

i mean stevo was saying BEN WESTWOOD for great britain oh please we haven't become that desperate have we.

If Scully was playing at Stand off? then on current form why not give Thorman a go, his experience out in Oz and he is only young.

He has improved considerably, would be a good replacement for Moran, if he ever goes

I would prefer to see Alker at Salford to replace Terry if he is out as reported.

It does always raise the issue of depth. I woud quite like to see Burrows/Mcguire and Sinfield given the key roles and see if there familiarity with each other can pay off. I daresay Long will get the knod over Burrows though.

Alker would not anybody down BTW but I'm guessing Diskin will get the No 2 hooker roll behind Cunningham.

Probably true cpwigan but Diskin has missed so much with his injuries i bet Alker is wondering what he needs to do to get a look in.He has been Salfords best player for about three years doesnt say that much but he deserves a chance IMO.I would start with the Leeds trio especially over what went Wong but i dont think noble is that brave as a coach.

I think Noble is a terrible coach in general, he inherited a very good team from Matthew Elliot, he hasnt replaced the players he had when he took the job, and slowly every season they have slipped. I would much sooner have a diferent coach in charge of G.B, with him in charge I feel we will struggle even more than we should do against the Kiwi's and Aussies.

To omit the BRITISH GF winning captain from last years test squad was simply idiotic and Sinfield certainly played as though he had a point to prove all season resultin in our humiliation every time we played them. I think burrows should start even though he may stuggle in defense his speed and stepping ability may offer something different the aussies dont like short quick halfbacks running at them.

I think Alker is an excellent player and his defence / workrate is suited to international football.

Never quite understood wha Noble is trying to achieve. The Harris for McGuire Final decision was awful. Mind you he seems to repeat his mistakes and ommits players who deserve a chance. Danny Tickle for one as a squad player.
