I couldn't believe how many times sarge took the ball up first tackle,in our own half.we did this for 60 mins, without change.it was a bit one directional.i don't know who got the mom,but for me,campese ruined us

It was not "a" game but the most important game of the season so far and the same thing happened last year. Wigan knocked out of the cup by mediocre opposition.

Of course he would. His personal anti Wane agenda is tedious beyond belief!
I asked a question decide whether you are a Yes or a No and leave the personal garbage out.
But it is ok for you to be personal about SW and ridicule him to a level I think is not acceptable.

Merely stating the truth. Somebody talked about Noble not achieving much; Noble inherited a club heading for relegation. The was his starting point. Wane inherited the best club / best team / successful in SL and he has largely blown it big time. Lions led by a donkey!

Wane likes to dine out on Manly well sadly he never understood or learned the message from that night and last night was one such occasion that required the Manly approach not some crazy Waneball philosophy.

Is it any wonder as Wigan started to be successful they got rid of Wane or the John Monie commented in his book that Wane never understood that if he wanted to play like Platt and Skerrett he had to train like them. Likewise Madge gave him everything, the keys to the RL palace of knowledge / wealth but he threw it away because he knew better!

People like Wane are the reason with British RL has been second rate for 30 years!

But is it not true what Kitt said about your anti-Wane becoming tedious?

I am going to ask you 1 question!

If people like Wane are the reason British RL has been 2nd rate for 30 years and you are as knowledgable and passionate about change and the future as your posts suggest, why have you not done anything about it yourself?

Ps. Maybe you are trying!!

I agree on the noble bit as he stopped us from going down that season and allways classed him as a good coach,
I dont know maybe a different approach is needed a bit like whats happened at london with joe grima and nobby as part time mentor , i think wane is getting for the most of it right but this inconsistency in playing away from home has to stop ! just watched the game back again after going last night and our attack is so poor getting chance after chance at scoring only to come up short and against a team we battered only two weeks ago even with albert kelly out who in my view is one of the best half backs in the league they turned us over :(
He has got the strengh he has got the speed..and hes beaten him....Ray French on Henderson Gills try 1985 cup final.

I agree with that statement, cp can be very, very trying

And as for your opening question, I have often wondered that myself, seeing as cp as more knowledge & experience of the game than anyone else involved in it, bar the RFL of course
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Nobody in Britain with the possible exception of a handful of people have the qualities and know how to coach elite RL. I am not a RL coach of anything bar children but it is not hard to recognise Madge was an elite RL coach, Wane is not an elite RL coach.

Stop being patronising, especially to your elders!
