I have just read on an Aussie web site that Gasnier is staying at st george because of family loyalty and tradition even though the Wigan offer was financialy better .IF so where now for a centre

This ones not dead yet. The latest news is that Uncle Mo will be flying out to Os next week to make a firm offer and negotiate with Gasnier. Even before the offer has been made Gasnier is not sure about his future. He is quoted as saying (about his future contract):

"It's a tough call, I'd have to sit down with Mum and Dad and my three brothers. I really value their opinion a lot and we're a close family.

"It's something I'd have to sort through but at the moment that (offer) hasn't been made so the main consideration is getting a deal done with St George Illawarra."
