World class centre needed

Post by East Stand Faithful »

Thats what we need to allow us to dominate SL next year. Gelling is ok (and a character who i really like) and Sarge is ok (defensively weak) and Thornley is never fit. We should not be playing JT at centre. Gildart is a good prospect but is probably only ready for 2017. Any thoughts?
Whatever happened to Billy McGinty's pineapple?

Brad tighe,James Roberts,Lewis brown and Blake Ferguson are all out of contract at the end of the season. All good centres imo.Tighe is 31 so he would probably be a gamble.Ferguson would be the best bet, with budgie going the other way.Roberts would be an awesome signing.hes like a young ET.Also think Brown would be a bargain.Hes a 100% player but not sure of his age

I think Olli Gildart will come good but he's not physically strong enough for me at the moment especially with his tackling.
Hard to see where a decent player would become available.

Is Dean Collis worth a punt?

A strong centre that Wigan have sometimes struggled to get to grips with.
Good shout for me.

With the salary cap there is no chance of us signing a world class centre
