In my opinion the individual schoolboy errors cost us the game tonight without doubt, just look at their 5 scores irrelevant of how bad we were playing, it was amateur like from professionals, that is not acceptable!! Wane needs to play to our strengths but for me which is equally as important the players have to perform more consistently otherwise it's bye bye SW or bye bye some players as they are not up to it! At the moment in general I think it's a bit of both, but for tonight I blame the players more!
I respect your opinions tbw but I don't agree, yes people will focus on the 3 glaring errors but for 80 minutes the whole game plan was wrong/crap, which led to a lack of ball control, ruck control, one on one D, Discipline, etc etc. I do feel there are players who don't want to play for Wane

Just 3 SL? All 5 of their scores were glaring errors!! Not to mention the other 20!! Like I have said from day 1 it's a results business and ultimately if results aren't good enough then the coach goes as he is in charge and obviously not doing things right, my point is tonight that the players were more to blame!!
I was being generous :)
Fair enough mate there's a lot of players and coaching staff that need to take a long hard look in the mirror because that's was embarrassingly poor

Well very upset with the game. Saints outplayed us. They did a Wigan at half time and game out and played amazingly well.

I feel for Matty Bowen i don't feel he could have dome anything right tonight. Every bounce that could have gone wrong did.

Wane did make one Major mistake and that was giving Micky Mac a rest the moment Powell came on Roby got freedom and Saints started attack alot better. I really feel me made the wrong move by letting Logan go to Salford.

Tomkins failures at centre showed today massively, he on three occasions held onto tje ball to long and when it finally was passed to Charnley he found himself with no space and multiple defenders on him.

We just didnt seem to turn up today. Both teams were poor in the first half but saints fixed it and we didnt. I would like to say just get on with it and get ready for next week. However the saints game are the biggest matches of the season in normal rounds, to fail so badly in a high pressure game makes me concerned about mentality if we do make the grand final.

I don't feel that we should be calling for anyones head. We had a bad day at the office. However we do need to sort out a centre and try someone else at goal kicking. Smith is a good player his in game kicking is fine but a goal kicker he is not.

These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

 Let's get this right

I TBW will praise Wane when Wigan win BUT

I TBW will never criticise Wane whether Wigan win or lose

:with: :with: :with:

There's me thinking the coach is the most important person in any club
You beat me to it. Win, super SW. Lose, poor players.

Too much inconsistency. Not good enough. They were knackered, and even Laurel & Hardy pointed it out. Was there for the taking, thrown away.

Advantage SH, again.
Firstly if either of you can find a post of me ever saying super SW when we win then please feel free to share it!! I actually praise the players more for wins than I ever have SW!!

Secondly, I have always said that results are down to the players and coach working together, sometimes the coach lets the players down and vice versa!!

Next I have always said it's a results business so give SW till the end of the season if no GF bye bye Shaun!!

.....and finally sc74 my opinion has always been consisitent regarding SW unlike your posting pattern, we win you have no internet in Turkey, we lose you are on fibre optic broadband hmmmmmmm!!

It's Wane and the coaching team's job not just to train the players and get them fit but to psyche them up to the right pitch and to drill into them to concentrate for 80 minutes.

Yes, the players played badly but that doesn't absolve Wane from all the blame. He did not prepare them well enough and I wonder if he understands the mental preparation that's needed at the top level. I remember a multiple Olympic gold medal winner saying that, yes he trained hard, yes he was super fit, but if his head wasn't in the right place, he was wasting his time. When Wigan ARE in the right place, they don't give away stupid penalties (or even worse 2 penalties in one Saints set) and they don't pass to non-existent team mates. Tonight, they gifted a key match to a competent but unexceptional Saints team who would have crumbled if we hadn't donated them two absolute gifts and umpteen cheap penalties.

You lose all credibility when you bring Bob Beswick into the argument!! Plus it is better to judge over time not just one game! How did Roby do when MM was actually on the pitch? Oh yes he came alive last 10 minutes when the game was won!! Try harder Jim!!
Bollocks tbw Roby is and as always been better than macca
Not in my opinion, look at the head to heads in the one off playoff and GF games!!

In games like this we need Lockers and Micky Mac on for the full 80 mins.

Bowen had a mare at full back. Matty has a habit of making cock ups in the big games. Time to give Hampshire another run out.

Joel was poor in defence and god knows what was going on between Sarge and Josh.

No.

Thornley and Gelling centres when fit and Sarge FB.

Rocky is more of a liability than Bowen and that saying something after tonight
