sw PIG HEADED WAY OF SHOWING HIM WHO IS THE BOSS
Just a thought for the coach, why not pull Farrel into the middle after 20 minutes and run a fresh Larne Patrick at the centre with pace and power. And does he realise that a simple run around creates an overlap.

Mistake letting Logan go to Salford. In my opinion a far better sub hooker than Powell.
if wane is so obsessed with a backup half or hooker, simply play lockers on the bench.Bench selection has been one of our Achilles heels over the last couple of years.we always seem to end up with more players out of position at the end of every game. This is why I thought jack Hughes was more valuable than large Patrick.Surely it pays off to have bench players than can cover more positions.
I remember going to Widnes a few years ago.We were 18 nil up after 20 mins and lost the game.we had 4 big forwards on the bench and got hammered out wide when 2 threequarters got injured. Its ok having a big bench but skill will always overcome this

Good point about Hughes. Mind you if we had him available he'd be playing centre meaning Joel T would be back in the pack where he belongs.

With only two fit centres going into the season we let the best cover go on loan.

I agree with DaveO and yourself about this

Seriously hope the number of interchanges do drop so more thought is needed regards substitutes and when players are brought on and off. Little, if any thought is used at the moment. We all know it goes "by the clock" regardless of what is happening on the pitch

Mr lockers didn't look like he could organise a piss up in brewery, he offered no leadership to his players
At last,a Wigan fan that realises lockers isn't what he his made out to be :eusa2: :eusa2: :eusa2:
Ive been saying it since he came back from injury, quite how he keeps his place on his performances over the last few games is beyond me

IF sw HAD KEPT DRIVING THE FORWARDS THROUGH THE MIDDLE THE SPACES WOULD HAVE DEVELOPED OUT WIDE.
Agree re Budgie at FB
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

The criticism of Sam Powell is laughable, people should watch the game again. McIllorum was awful and his passing game was the worst it has ever been.
Being a high earner, Bowen would be expected to perform in big games and quite frankly his 2 years at Wigan have been shithouse.
Matty Smith was poor again and his spot should be under scrutiny.

Ouote from Wane "There are other areas I'm just as upset about," said Wigan coach Shaun Wane. "It was a poor team performance and it's a tough one to deal with.

"We just didn't play in the right areas of the field.

"It was an awful performance, we just never got into an arm wrestle and came up with silly errors and penalties. I'm really disappointed that we didn't challenge them in any area today. Not in the right areas of the field ..arm wrestle? are the players listing to Wane? answers please.

I TBW will never criticise Wane whether Wigan win or lose

:with: :with: :with:

There's me thinking the coach is the most important person in any club
You beat me to it. Win, super SW. Lose, poor players.

Too much inconsistency. Not good enough. They were knackered, and even Laurel & Hardy pointed it out. Was there for the taking, thrown away.

Advantage SH, again.
Firstly if either of you can find a post of me ever saying super SW when we win then please feel free to share it!! I actually praise the players more for wins than I ever have SW!!

Secondly, I have always said that results are down to the players and coach working together, sometimes the coach lets the players down and vice versa!!

Next I have always said it's a results business so give SW till the end of the season if no GF bye bye Shaun!!

.....and finally sc74 my opinion has always been consisitent regarding SW unlike your posting pattern, we win you have no internet in Turkey, we lose you are on fibre optic broadband hmmmmmmm!!
Absolute nonsense, poor form TBW.
When I'm at work in the Middle East and extremely busy, then I often do't have time to post. At present, not working and have time to kill.
Shall I do a TBW and start calling for Mods?

Calling for mods because I question your posting pattern? If posters get away with calling other posters stupid then I am sure they won't give a care in the world about that. As for your posting patterns and opinions only you know the truth so I am happy to leave it there!!

Finally, I tell you what Is poor form, saying another poster says 'when we win super SW and when we lose poor players' so I am still waiting for evidence to back up what you said??
