Expect bad news

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

Many thanks for the info ddtftf. Very interesting this because I agree that you can't constantly lose good people whether they are players or backroom staff. However what have Sale seen in Deacs to lure him to the AJB stadium? You couldn't claim that our kicking game has improved significantly nor has the consistency of away performance. They must have done their scouting at home games.

That I have no doubt. All ready getting my head around Wigan losing Sarginson, Bateman, Charnley, Hampshire, Bowen, Burgess and probably one or two more and then being told we are lucky to be able to afford Sam Tomkins coming back.

Sick of being undersold so often on the signings and retentions policies at Wigan

Woah!!! Step back. I see some names there I recognise as officially leaving but I'm missing something with Bateman & Hampshire, Charnley (?) Has something been officially announced?

One player going to St George NRL and just maybe a player not having his contract renewed, NOT CHARNLEY .

Other bad news is Bridge`s name is still going around 34 yrs old sounds just right for us.

There you go guys it all starts again, Good Luck Guessing.

Possible Deacon being announced this week as leaving unless IL has offered him an incentive to stay.

St. George must be Sarg as they were after him a while back. Hopefully it is Sarg and not Bateman.

Well Both Bateman and Manfredi and clubb have done enough that i can imagine that NRL teams would come sniffing. during a very poor wigan season for our recent standard they have been consistently good.

Sarge/Smith of the back of his England performance?

interesting to see whos out of contract and not getting it renewed? Hampshire? i know a rumor about him being at leeds next year has cropped up in again.

if we do go for bridge is he a stop gap while a youth player is given some SL games? or is he seen as someone fore the next couple of seasons?

These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

On the playing front, Dan Sarginson has again been linked with a move to Australia. Josh Charnley is also understood to have turned down a new deal but contract talks are said to be on going with the out of favour England winger.

:( i really hope we don't lose Charnley if he builds his confidence back up he will be a real asset to any team.
