Re: Announcement on Thursday night ????
As much as I like H and as happy as I'd be to see him back, would it really merit a major announcement? If so we must be desperate for good news. Is H a big improvement on what we have already or is someone else leaving? Is he a better player now (or even as good) as he was when he left? I'll be pleased to see him back but he's no bigger than the rest of our not very large back row (except Bateman). With Jack Hughes going to wire do we assume that H is a replacement for Larne Patrick?

There was one rumoured some months ago or maybe last year then it never happened.
We need a win on Thursday night, leave it at that!
Just got in the house and my dad who is never in the know and i have no idea how he knew but he told me that H is coming back. Anything on SKY tonight?
He is never on a website but he told me before i even go on this evening.

Maybe!stevo38 wrote:charnleys new contract

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I think after Charnleys confirmation tonight at the Riversiders meeting that he's turned down one offer from Wigan,he looked a bit shocked the question was asked but did state he was hoping he'd get a better offer.I think it would be a mistake not to give him a better offer. You just know he'd be one of those Wigan players whom left and then piled on the points against you

I like HH but I hope he isn't coming back we don't want anymore dead wood back now - he was a great servant to wigan but his wrist is shot can never hold onto the ball in collisions

Re: Announcement on Thursday night ????
Well if there is bad news to be announced it's par for the course these days for IL to try and offset it with some good news.
Whether the "good news" is that good remains to be seen. Hopefully it is something on the same level of Sam T and not Chris Bridge or HH signaling (much as I like the latter as a player).
Be surprised if it was either of them as it's unusual to announce players signed from other SL clubs for next season before the current one is complete.
