All matches come into the equation until maybe teams can no longer achieve a top 4 position, then they may take their foot off the accelerator.
When there's something to play for a team will ultimately try but not necessarily if there's nothing left.
Is it better to face a Catalans side away when they can't get beyond 7th position, or face Castleford at home if they can finish 4th with that win.
As I see it teams will back off as they are in a position where they can no longer achieve a top 4 finish.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
Instead of playing Saints, Leeds or Wire always tough home have we gone we can win the 4 home games we now have given they are easier home than getting Leeds or Saints at home. Which if we are not playing well we could lose.
Us against Saints or Leeds home or away is a 50/50 game. All the others we would beat home but struggle away. Has Wane seen something and this could be the reason for us going poor to very good when we need to.
Looking at it we have got 8 home points if we play anything like we can. If we played Leeds or Saints risk is 6 and given teams are harder away especially Catalan and Cas has Wane pulled a fast one.
I know it sounds stupid but our home games are a lot easier than Leeds or Saints get seeing we go to them.
Cats away could be a banana skin for Saints and Leeds!
