so the Executive Match Sponsors are from Martland Mill :exc:
Not a London based multinational then?

Oh well.

What is the criteria for success for this game?

We are told the objectives are sponsors, more support and a bigger talent pool.

Well you aren't going to get all that off one game year so how many games are fans prepared to see relocated to London each season?
The support all depends on us going to Wembley for a Challenge Cup final which is not the case this season and the novelty of going to a ground which you have not been to before.

How many of the 2,000 plus going for this first game would still be going if we were at Wembley and there was no free transport.

I suspect very few, apart from the more dedicated supporters who go to all away games, irrespective of the cost!
We are going to Wembley .

Going to Millwall as well (and it ain't a freebie)

London Broncos away game was always a treat for us because it doesn't involve the bloody M6 Ha Ha Ha

Good evening Warriors, 'soft southern' Millwall fan here :) !!

Just a few thoughts on what's been said about the pros & cons of playing in London. For starters, I'd be pretty pi$$ed off travelling the best part of 200 miles for a 'home' game, but as previously stated, as long as it doesn't affect your Super8 form it's a good opportunity to drum up some interest down south. We're not the most glamorous club in the country, or even the capital! but for where we are (good transport links), South Bermondsey station (on our doorstep) is only 2 minutes from London Bridge, Canada Water tube is only 15 min walk to the ground, we're the most central of all the London clubs, our ground will suit RL & it will create a good atmosphere too (unlike Highbury the library or Chelsea etc).
If travelling by club coach you'll probably go straight to The Den, we've got 'Arry's Bar, your typical stadium venue, but for those making their own way there are some nice 'boozers'serving decent ales, stay away from the Old Kent road side of things, which if strayed too close to could be confused with Lagos :) So my suggestion would be Bermondsey, Rotherhithe, or Borough Market, even if bussed in & time allows you could do worse than one of these....

near London Bridge Stn, might be a bit pricey though
http://www.mayflowerpub.co.uk/
nice river pub
http://www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk/home/pub ... elers-rest
Tower bridge, cheapest option & kids welcome (£3 each with 4 in a black cab to the ground).
Anyway, back to business, a good win for you tonight, or were the wolves a bit 'pony'? I'll give you the benefit of doubt :) & what with our game now cancelled on the 5th, you might get an extra few 100 of us on the gate. Hopefully your form will continue & you get to beat leeds in the GF, now that would go down well in this neck of the woods!
Good luck for the rest of the season & i hope you all enjoy your day in South east London.

Oxwall/Bunny/BMP/Chook

Any problems with wearing replica shirts down there round the ground. Last time I went to Wembley they wouldn't let me in a pub in central London as I was wearing a "football" shirt!

I thought they were putting a bit of a fan park together at the ground, so if you can't get a beer elsewhere, that might be an option??

Does anyone know what time, approximately, the coaches are supposed to get to the den?

Hello Doc, team shirts won't be a problem, obviously some pubs will & some are a bit more up themselves, especially if they're aimed at the 'tourist trade'. The Banker at London Bridge is used to crowds of shirt wearers & serves a decent selection. As there's no football on the local area will be ok too. Grab a stool as soon as you get into any 'boozer' as you're likely to be paying the best part of £5 a pint, that'll stop you falling over in shock!

Hi

I live in London and looking to buy tickets to game. Where do the majority of people sit at Rugby league games as I like the passion of Wigan fans.

Half way line?

Behind the posts?

I went to 2011 challenge cup final and sat in the corner of a stadium.

Thanks

The majority of the tickets allocated to season ticket holders, as far as I'm aware, are in the Barry Kitchener & the Dockers Stands which are on the sideline.

I hope this helps :)
