Someone posted a video off the BBC's promotion of this match.

At the end, the reporter stated that Wigan hoped to play at least twice a year in London from now on, so at least SL will be available "once more" for fans in London

I would love for some official from the club to ascertain whether this was a reporting error or Wigan actually DO intend to play more regular fixtures away from the DW??

Hopefully we play at least one game, if it does well why not 2. Or 3!

Exactly!!

If it goes well maybe they can relocate permanently and Latics can finally be THE major sporting force in town

Why play any games in Wigan any more if it pulls in sponsorship in London?

Why not rename them the Motley Crue Pirates with no actual "home" any more?

If (and when it fails) as all previous attempts at professional RL in London have done, then we can welcome a returning chastised club with open arms and no fan base and no loyalty any more

Steady on we need to help the Latics stay afloat and the DW open. Seriously, 2 games in London, possibly even an away game being one of those so what. Over reaction IMO.

Please explain how it is an over-reaction?

We have 11 homes games and you are "fine" with 2 or 3 of them being played in London. Seriously do you see the club continue to provide free transport for all matches for this limited numbers of fans?

Why sell season tickets then if "home" fixtures can and will be played in London?

Why would other teams move their own home fixtures into London to suit your point that "away" fixtures could make up these games?

I find it ridiculous to believe that it is Wigan's responsibility to make London a success when the RFL (and for that matter Super League) can and have done little for decades to help with the game in the South

Yes, one game and that a play-off I can understand, BUT that was not what the reporter intimated at all.

It would be nice of the club to be honest with the fans (who provide a steady income to the club's coffers) to be open about their plans.

Whilst promoting RL in London is important I think you will find the club are aiming even more to attract the commercial investment that London offers. Hence, the London business club.

Re Fans. Actually, RL, every club needs to move away from season ticket culture which is increasingly becoming a negative as much as a positive. At its best the sport had several competitions and supporters habitually purchased tickets alongside their season ticket. Nowadays, less competitions means once a season ticket is not valid for a game and purchases are required; attendances drop no matter what the competition or venue. Perhaps RL as a whole should be looking to membership schemes.
