Ok bearing in mind i watched highlights not full coverage what did sinfield do to win that? I know Cooke scored the winner but his all round contribution looked excellent he was driving forward and leading the hull side all game. If any player from the Leeds side deserved that Ward did but MOTM award is very subjective i just didnt see Sinfield at his best today.
Sorry thanks for the info.

i didnt think sinfield did anything special to get it and i watched the match, although he was a brave little boy carrying on with his war wounds!! (actually looked pretty nasty at the end) I think brough deserved the lance todd trophy to be honest, he was part of everything or if someone from the leeds side won it, i'd have chosen danny ward, he played excellent!

I can see where he is comming from he always works for the team rather than himself if he swopped they all would have medals thats how i am interpreting what he has said but this is the first i have heard of it.What did Sinfield do to earn the award though i thought he looked a bit quiet once Senior went off.

I would have given it to Danny Brough but John Kear said he thought Richard Swain should have had it.

I think we all knew before the game kicked off Sinfield was going to win it regardless of who was the best player on the pitch.

Thats a bit harsh, although a i have no idea why Sinfield won the Lance Todd i would hate to think that decisions about who wins the award are predetermined just because it cheapens the award which the majority of players won and deserved ie. Rads on one leg. :doz:
