I'm an enormous Charnley fan but I think that might just be the best 17 we could put out next week. Larne Patrick would be the only query I think.

Sadly he's got more chance of a GF ring than Jack Hughes who is arguably more deserving!Southern Softy wrote:I'm an enormous Charnley fan but I think that might just be the best 17 we could put out next week. Larne Patrick would be the only query I think.

Really I saw nothing from Budgie that put him above Charnley tonight. Very quiet apart from a couple of things. Still don't think he's fully back on form as I've not seen Budgie as unnoticeable as I he's been the last 3 weeks.Southern Softy wrote:I'm an enormous Charnley fan but I think that might just be the best 17 we could put out next week. Bateman though..... wow how he isn't up for MOS I will never know
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Budgie first try next week. Joe has got pace to burn and that worries teams. You have also got to remember that he is partnering a rookie.Caboosegg wrote:Really I saw nothing from Budgie that put him above Charnley tonight. Very quiet apart from a couple of things. The fact remains that they never win a meaningful game. Good over a season, terrible in the playoffs.shaunedwardsfanclub wrote:I don't think they bottled it Mike I think that Wigan were too good.Mike wrote:Another year goes by with Huddersfield bottling the big games.
