When was the last time we signed a player who actually brought people through the gates? Other than ones we let go previously I can't think of any in recent times. If the opportunity exists here then it needs to be taken.

Sam coming into the line with Hurrell would be absolute bedlam,. defences would just hang off and Hurrell 20 meters from the line unstoppable

Anyone looking at the YouTube clips of this guy cannot be anything but excited at what he can do! Okay he may have his issues, but surely you'd have to be mad as an owner or coach to not be interested in a player of this calibre!

Hurrell will persuade a good number of supporters old and new to buy a season ticket! He's an A-list player!

Come on IL give us an early Christmas present and sign Hurrell for us!!! To see Tomkins linking up with Hurrell and charnley/manfredi down the wing would be so exciting, got goosebumps just thinking about it!!

Do the right thing by your fans IL

Correct. The production line of young players is something to be proud of but there as issues with it as discussed elsewhere that frustrate the fans like Hampshire not getting a run at 6 and some players seemingly in the team because they are home grown not because they are good enough.

Fans won't be proud of it for long if it doesn't deliver results and if in the meantime Wigan ignore the chance to sign a player like him.

Him as marquee as well as Sam would mean some players leaving but there are several who need to!

Lets sign a petition on here to buy him & let Ian Lenagan know how the fans feel about this player before Leeds embarrass us again by being first to buy a superstar.

it is ok bringing your home grown players through but we need quality players Hurrell would do us a great job especially if Sargeson is reported to be leaving.I think we have too big of a squad of home grown players we need a balance of quality players to compensate them and guide them along.Whats the point of bringing home grown players through if they are not going to be given a place in the team aka Hampshire hope they do not send him on loan especially if the under 23 s takes off.
