raper is leaving at the end of the season, so his children can havetheir senior education in australia!

personally i am gutted, stuart has done a wonderful job at wigan, i hope we replace him with quality!

i have no problem with stuart raper..been a good coach, & got us through that real bad patch this year, when we had 7 starters out. him & the other coaches did us proud.
if he wants to go home we have to respect his desision.. but like u aj i am a little gutted. thought he was doing a good job for us..
i`m now really hoping we get a quality coach..
u would have though raper would have been instrumental in the orr deal, cas relationship etc.. seems a bit strange..but what can u do!
oh.. u just know were gonna be going for ellery now.. like most keep pointing out no smoke without fire...wrong move for me!
sily, silly.... anyhow.. good luck stuart raper.. we`ll be supporting u & the fella`s all the way this year!

good luck stuart, he will be missed at wigan. My only hope is that mike gregory does not take over as first team coach as the guy is not good enought for the job. sure he seems ok as a assistant but nothing more. Lets get hanley or edwards in.

So go on what experience do they have?? Hanley took Sean McRae's Saints team to the GF and Edwards????? Defence coach at Wasps. Right ok so they will win us the GF yeah? ERM NO

and mike gregory will do better will he? well speaking as a MAN WHO HAS TRAINED under gregory i can tell you i dont think the guy is good enought. I only mentioned hanley and edwards because they are names that have bee linked with wigan. I would have to say haley more tha edwards because as you say he has ot got ay experince other than with kick ad clap

Did i say he'd be better. All i said was if we are getting rid of a good coach in Raper then i would like to see a good RL coach come in that could possibly make us forget him. Chis Anderson won the World Cup with a good side. What Raper has done with a bad side in Castleford (no disrespect) and a depleated written off team like us is nothing short of fantastic and we need someone like him and Edwards and Hanley aren't.
