He kept walking all the time as fans were trying to keep up with him to get their souvenir pictures & autographs
Was left very disenchanted with his attitude if I'm honest
Maybe he is gutted he left South's for Bath and his career has gone backwards and now regrets going for the money. His union career is almost done internationally now due to the pressure the next coach will get he is not going to get a look in. And Bath are not realistic going to win anything he might feel he has done a balls up for his career.
Too late for him to come to SL for next season given how many players any side will need to lose and with most NRL sides set for 2016 he might have to play union for another year and have no realistic chance of achieving anything.
Great League player ruined by the greed and desire to do something he was not capable of in a short period of time. Always going to be the fall guy for England's failure but that is no reason to treat people as he did.
Bet Greg Inglis was a heck of a lot nicer to you Josie than Burgess is.
I wasn't wanting anything from him gimble tbh, I was just watching the events unfold, & was actually thinking what a lady stood next to me said out loud, in fact I'm sure he heard her, "Stuck up sod, with his blonde bimbo, thinks he's too good for us lot now!"
The lady in question did look like real "wag" to be honest, stick thin, long, flowing, bleached blonde hair! Legs up to her armpits, wearing knee length boots, skin tight trousers stuck in them & with 25 inch stiletto heels
He was very surly too, & any kid who was lucky enough to get his attention & did manage to get a photo with him, he just looked at the camera & he didn't smile at all!
I just thought, mixing with the likes of Russell Crowe has gone to his head & he now thinks he is like a movie star!! They forget where they come from some of them.
This lady I mentioned, was a Warrington supporter with a camera & no one to take photos, so I offered. Benny Westwood & Ben Currie were the first two to come out & both, especially young Currie, who I told has a great future, was genuinely flattered to be asked for his autograph & photo from screaming kids & never stopped smiling once
A young HKR fan in a wheelchair & was supporting France for the day, was wanting his picture took they were all stopping. One player, in fact I thought he must play for HKR, spoke as if he knew the lad & took out of his bag a pair of shorts & socks & gave them to him

which I thought was a nice gesture.
Our lads were just as accommodating which I was glad to see & again they were all smiles all of the time
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
