We certainly have...proud of the lads tonight, keeping their concentration in the face of blatant spoiling tactics that were allowed to go unpunished by the usual incompetent referee! Not sure how Bailey got around the "persistent high tackling" rule.
Excellent display by Moran & Orr, yet again, and also lots of work (for the full 80 mins!) from BC. Aspi mostly managed to keep Calderwood quiet, apart from the heart-stopping misfield near the end.
Sloppy defence allowing their first 3 tries, though...far too many missed open-field tackles. The less said about their last "try", the better...apart from the blatant holding back of Dallas, and the final forward pass.
The lads never gave up, though, and that try of Hanson's took a lot of scoring.
Can't decide between Orr and Moran for MoM....probably Moran, just.

Great support, yet again...the atmosphere, especially towards the end, was just amazing! Good to see I.M. come out onto the pitch at the end to acknowledge us all.

Bring on the scousers!

Well I did not expect that! Not that I care lol. One of the very best games I've been to this season and there hasn't been many. But I was very proud of the lads tonight and I think we totally deserved it. I do agree with Geoff though - very sloppy defence allowed them more points than they should've had. But Danny Orr and Dennis Moran were brilliant, as were the props and Brian Carney worked hard too.

Atmosphere was fantastic! Especially in those last 15 minutes when I thought (and I'm sure others did too) that we were gonna bottle it. And it was nice to see Ian Millward walk round with the lads at the end.

Bring on the Stains! :D And some throat sweets for me lol... :)

:) Wish I could have been there, it was scary watching Bradford thump Hull with sky giving updates of the score. Great result! I'll be ther next week when we beat the scousers

The lads did themselves proud tonight and i would say that's the best we've seen them all season.

But, we very nearly lost it right at the end, we still need practise on putting teams away in the last few minutes, all i could think of after Hanson's try was the home game against Bradford at the start of the season and when Aspi made that mistake at the end my heart was in my mouth. If they had scored we wouldn't of deserved the loss but we couldn't have said it was unlucky, it was just bad play on our part.

Anyway, it didn't happen :D, so we're all happy!

Really can't wait for next week now, bring on the scousers.
