Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

How kind of the BBC to include a player from Rugby League, irrespective of it being Sinfield.
Will make a big impact with the few seconds they show of our season every year!

The BBC (including radio, tv, ceefax and online) give RL better coverage than newspapers or any other media (excluding Sky for obvious reasons).
In this case we should all vote Sinfield IMO - the good publicity for League if he gets in the top 3 is worth putting aside petty bias. (It would also continue the dominance of Lancashire-born players through RL history.

Jamie Peacock would've been a good shout but I'll be supporting Sinfield in this comp.

Would be interesting to know how many rugby League supporters still watch the event in full.
Or just record it and then run the recording at fast speed to see the actual awards and the few seconds on our game.
I suspect that now in the age of technology, the latter is the case!

Dead on there, anyone who can sit through all that sanctimonious drivel and consider theirselves as being entertained,,, well, they could do with some warm milk.
