Leeds 2016 ?

Post by cpwigan »

How do people expect them to go in 2016?

2 Big loses in God and JP + reliable kicking gone.

Still a top four team for me. I think that Ferres is a good fit for them.

Definitely weaker CP, I don't think Leuluai is a loss but Peacock and Sinfield are.
They often came up with big efforts at critical times.
Aiton fitted in well and is also a big loss, Falloon is pretty average.

I think they will be fine

Peacock will be a massive miss not from just his playing but he is such a leader

Sinfield - I don't think they will miss - if you think back to the early half of the season young sutcliffe (outstanding talent IMO) was being picked ahead of him on form.

They've got a good mix of great youth talent and seasoned vets to steady the ship

I do given they won everything last season and are arguable one of our greatest rivals for success in 2016,

Their success last year was dubious to say the least

Probably because of the contentious decisions that went their way during key matches in the season

They'll do well enough but might bottle the big games without JP / Sinfield. Anyone seen the Leeds-Bradford game today would see that they will struggle to replace Sinfield's kicking.
