Loinees v Wire

Post by jobo »

The 3/4's for Leeds look formidable tonight. Shame that Wire can't play their favoured back three in the pack.

Looking forward to this.

What the heck has Ryan Hall got on his face/top lip ????????????????
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Heard a rumour he's quitting rugby to take up a job as a 1920's silent movie villain

Wires defence has been nothing short of brilliant

Excellent first game of the season. It may even be one occasion where the team making the most mistakes is winning / can win. Leeds are very lateral IMO and Wire are defending great. Early signs that marker defence is a lottery / killing some play.

Decent Wigan hooker on show.

Unless a forward takes the playmaking; Leeds now look lacking in terms of playmakers with Danny Maduire off.

Have to give Leeds credit; reigned in the lateral stuff, running straight and hard to forge ahead. Great 2nd try.
