Dan Sarginson
Heard that Gold Coast Titans have bought out his contract & tonight will be his last game!
Big bust up with Waney about it I've been led to believe :exc:

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

The biggest Room is the Room for improvement.
The best form of defence is attack!!
Out of the black and into the red, remember you don't get anything for two in a bed!!

If you say it that is good enough for me. I hope Sam T gets back sharpish but Sarge IMO has lots to work on. Decent runner, lousy passer. How will you guys go on re sponsorship if he does leave.josie andrews wrote:Heard that Gold Coast Titans have bought out his contract & tonight will be his last game!

I'll be contacting the club on Monday for them to confirm or deny this. Do we get a refund or do we get another player? It's hard to know what will happen at the moment so it's no use speculating just yet.cpwigan wrote:If you say it that is good enough for me. Re: Dan Sarginson
I hope this isn't correct. We'll be really short of cover if we lose Dan now. I thought he showed plenty of promise tonight at fullback. Yes he needs work but, lets be honest, he's less experienced than Lewis at fullback. Our squad will be weaker if we lose him. If he goes who, if anybody, will we spend the cap money on? A back up hooker, another fullback?
It looks like poor planning to me. You shouldn't be losing fit first team players at this stage of the season. Tonight we needed a back up half back and didn't have one.

cpwigan, I am more inclined to believe you rather than believe the sister of a player who has thrown his lot in with Orrell and the Union game!cpwigan wrote:The rumour is not true. Ignore it, he will be playing v Widnes.
