They were a joy to watch in the 2nd half and I wouldn't change them. Our right side of Manfredi, Gelling, Bateman tore the mighty Leeds to pieces. Get the halves sorted and this team can do some real damage. If MM was fit, can't see who would beat us in a GF.

Exactly, get the half backs sorted out and one way to do that is by getting a Stand Off like we had in
Finch & Green
and not a Scrum Half playing at Stand Off, where as far as I am concerned, Williams is not as effective and showing his true potential as he was when playing in his proper position of Scrum Half.

And I am not the only one saying it!
And that's something else, besides union players, you are obsessed with.

Do you think your two obsessions are the answer to everything in our club?

You're as bad as cp with Jack Gibson
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Seems this season both have had the brain farts beaten out of them. Seems a lot less stupid mistakes compared to last season by both.
Tautai's one handed carries still give me the willies but he has improved.

As to Gelling I think people forget he was rightly dropped at the end of last season.

If I were to be generous I'd put his brain farts down to trying to win the game single handed. He doesn't need to do that. He doesn't need to try and do something spectacular every time he gets the ball.

With him and Sarge as centres I always think they think they have to do something and patience isn't something they know anything about. So daft things occur.
Come on Dave, what's with the bit about Gelling being rightly dropped at the end of last season, it's now 2016 season.
Are you wanting to live in the past or can you not just allow yourself to give the bloke a chance based on how he's performing now.
Are the things he's doing bad outweighing what he's doing good.
I love exciting rugby league and Gelling provides that by the bucket load and probably one of the main reasons were 5 & nil.
Even the sky pundits and Wigan players are singing the lads plaudits.
Not you though, and I think your the one that's in the minority, not the others singing his praises based on one match as you put it.
Is the lad really playing that poorly?

If you say so, but at the same time what is your constructive opinion on the topic?

I don't feel the need to reply to every single thread/topic that is posted.

I read the threads/posts & if I find I would like to contribute to one I do, but I'm not obsessed with the same answers to certain problems all the time.

Well.......maybe one
