Charnley
Re: Charnley
You think he is as fast as was Dave, as agile? as light stepping?DaveO wrote:No, I think he has just simply regained his form after his injury and being dropped last season.Panchitta Marra wrote:He's keeping himself in the shop window forfor a good deal. Let's hope his form doesn't drop once the deal is signed, if he's moving elsewhere.
As I said on another thread recently where he was discussed, class is permanent, form is temporary.
He was also apparently a donkey who has lost his pace. So not sure how he managed to make it the length of the pitch last night.
I exaggerate to make the point but it just shows what nonsense is posted at times as there was no evidence he had.

I hope your right, if there's any truth in the rumour that he's signed for sale today I guess we will find out with his form sooner or later.DaveO wrote:No, I think he has just simply regained his form after his injury and being dropped last season.Panchitta Marra wrote:He's keeping himself in the shop window forfor a good deal. Personally I've really enjoyed watching him in the last few matches, he's looked well capable of getting in the England squad for me.

Because Sale are offering mega money.butt monkey wrote:Why? Where has it all gone?shaunedwardsfanclub wrote:We haven't got the dosh to keep Josh on board.Nezza Faz wrote:
Agreed Josie, and with Ken above - we must do something more to protect our assets, than simply give it all away under the premise he wants to go for " a new challenge" and "we wish him all the best" !!
Josh is now one of our senior guards and god help, we've not got many with his experience in our backs line up.
If as expected Sarginson moves on then the continuous arguments that they are all leaving because we have "no money" left in the cap becomes more and more ridiculous

No he is not. Then again which winger is going to maintain his speed when the modern way is to get them to make hard yards through the opposition's forwards when coming out of our own 22?cpwigan wrote:You think he is as fast as was Dave, as agile? as light stepping?DaveO wrote:No, I think he has just simply regained his form after his injury and being dropped last season.Panchitta Marra wrote:He's keeping himself in the shop window forfor a good deal. Might be a week or so old as I get the Observer when I visit relatives but there was an excellent article on Dom Manfredi that from 16 to 19 he was unable to play, was told by one specialit he could never play again before another said he had a chance. Talk about taking your chance

And before he could drive he caught three buses to get to training and he was never late! As Shaun Edward's used to say, 'rugby league is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration.' Dom has delivered in bucket loads, he is truly an inspiration to all young players.cpwigan wrote:True particularly how Wigan use them.shaunedwardsfanclub wrote:No he is not. I posted this originally in the Rumour Mill 10th October 2015!!
Think the club has made a balls up of a players contract talks again!!
We are letting another of our older experienced players leave the club, again!!
Surely the news could have waited until after Friday's game!
