No winger targeted yet?

No straw - I understand the idea that we may want to hide our rue intentions from other clubs but, let's be honest, how often does that really happen nowadays. If you believe that we've enquired about three wingers I'm sure that other clubs will have an idea too. Why don't we just admit who we're interested in and if they don't want to sign for Wigan I think the fans will accept it even if we're disappointed. There's no point pretending that we're not interested if we are, those days are long gone. Anyway, like you, I hope that we do sign a top quality winger to replace Josh however we finally achieve it.

There's a guy on Sydney Roosters books name of Burgess who's just kicking his heels in the reserves. Wonder if he's pleased he went. Right now it's looking like a 4 year paid holiday for the lad which I'm sure isn't what he was expecting

What happened to the Solomona rumour?

It appeared to be Tierney's down field break Friday that was the turning point for us in the HKR game. Gells scored off the ptb as Smith went our right side, their left, as Iain Thornley had tackled Lewis.
That brought us back to 18-14 down.

Maybe Tierney will get a run if injuries occur?

Greg Eden signed back for Cas next year, could this mean we have Sol?[/i]
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Does he play wing as well as full back? Think he's the replacement for Luke Dorn at FB
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Eden plays full back and wing.
He may play wing, after all they have Hampshire who can play full back!

I don't know if Waney really was bluffing with his statement last week or if another signing has just 'fallen our way' but I'm really pleased that Budgie is on his way back. He went too early but he'll be wiser for the experience and very keen to be successful with Wigan. The lad did so well for us before he left and still has the potential to improve. A great signing. Well done everyone involved for making certain that we had first refusal on a young player that fancied some time away from the World's most famous club. If they really want to get away, let them go but make certain we can have them back if it suits both sides.
