Jamie Soward to London for the rest of the year, St Helens after Matty Smith, so as Soward is a goal kicker as well as a half back could this be an arrangement for him to come to Wigan next year to fit in with the salary cap?.

Wigan cannot sign Soward. They will already have Smith abd Lu Lu along with George.

I haven`t heard anything, this is just something that fits, will Wigan really want 2 youngsters at halfback when experience is essential in that position. Ask Warrington !

Matty Smith has 2 yrs on his contract at Wigan and no desire to go to Stains. If he goes it's because the club sell him.

Sadly contracts mean very little as we know, and Smith is a St Helens lad so its his home town. If he is offered a better contract he will go, as a rugby career is short and you have to do what is best for your family.
Ps has he told you personalty he does`t want to go as you said?
