You got the sick note thing through the post as well then? Can't blame the club for trying the marketing but it might help if the team looked as if it had a clue.

He says in his post match the attack wasn't good enough. Well Mr Wane it's not been good enough for 26 games. It's not news to anyone but you.

Cunningham said we could still be playing now and would not score and he is right.
We need to give Saints some credit, they were defensively excellent. However, our attack is worse than woeful and we never looked like making a break. I am not going to single out players but apart from Bateman we were very poor. If Sam doesn't play well we struggle to create.

We've only sold 1500 tickets. Biggest crowd of the season tonight, I think the RFL has got something wrong with their planning????

Defensively Saints did what they - and wait for it - KNEW they had to do. It wasn't hard for them because they knew what our attack amounted to before kick off. Predictable. We made them look great on defense.

Once it was obvious after repeated attacks on the line from 10m out failed after a grubber on the last tackle, what did we do? The same again.

If credit is to be given to Saints it's down to their coach. The one who is supposed to be a joke.

Saints were patient. They let us try our useless attack, knew how to snuff it out and waited for the penalties and mistakes to get field position which they got. Game over.

Cunningham made Wane look like a fool. Which to be fair isn't that hard.

I couldn't agree more. Even with several players missing on paper we should have been capable of turning Saints over.

It's going to be embarrassing for the game. Unless the entire City of Hull decamps to Donny it's not going to look good but even if they do what sort of a venuse is that for a CC semi final?

On paper yes. When they read the teams out before kick off I assumed lots of Saints players were younger or not first team regulars as their numbers were 20+

I know that doesn't always work but it wasn't their best side.

Thinking of how Saints scored it was nothing special at all. No great moves or skill, just got gifted field position off penalties and did what we could not. Score from close to the line.

Apart from Makinson and Fages I think that it was their best team. We made poor players look good. We have got to ask why we couldn't create any opportunities with so much ball on their line early in the second half.
