All round Sam had a decent game but he is paid sily money to win games and for that you expect the young fullback that destroyed Wire with a chip and chase from his own 20, the scoots breaking from dummy half. I just hope he can find his zip and magic for 2017.
Maybe it is time for him to play with his head rather than his legs. You cannot beat pace in rugby league, but that pace is not always about sprinting! Sam has a great rugby brain and I think that we would be better advised for him to partner Williams.
If he cannot find his zip then perhaps half back is the place for him to be.

Don't you dare have the audacity to call the support

It's 97 miles from my house to Doncaster on a Friday night. Two of the people who were with me had booked a day off work to go to this game as did many others or had tonfinishmwork early.

It's also school holidays now so lots of families in the Wigan area are on holiday.

We aren't all armchair supporters!! Some did make an effort to get there!!

As Wandering Warrior asked you twice! "Were you there"??

If not STFU ????????????
I wouldn't like to catch you when you're having a bad day Josie! :D

Hull domination mostly with no big performance from anyone really for a semi with Wembley towers in the horizon

Some of our plays on the 5th tackle - disgraceful

Knock on...after knock on...

Average players will not cut it, less than 7 out of 10 week after weekI have said this time after time, energy & effort even loads of it is just not enought to lift trophies

Really this should be 4 losses on the trot, we all know we got out of jail with the Wakefield win

Super 8's left now I have no confidence on this at all in the business end of the season from what I have seen ?

A&L(just like Belfast!)
And p poor fans to boot!!
You missed Wandering W -- KER'S remark Josie The real troll on the forum. Why don't you tell him/her to STFUP. He will probably say "your too stupid not to bite. I think he means/meant"your stupid enough to bite" as he once told me.
NB these remarks are in quotes and are purely speculative

I don't normally bother about who says what in posts, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but after travelling over last night & a loss, it's a long journey after a loss, I was incensed by the remarks calling the fans who did travel to this game.

I don't very often have a bad day, but woe betide anyone who is in close proximity when I do
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Not a lot of credit going to Hull FC on here, who played bloody well!
More about our God given right to win trophies.
Has anyone wondered that our lack of attack might be down to the injuries that we have had all season and the fact that we haven't had a settled team? Micky Mac on his own would make a massive difference.
But for a couple of errors last night and a bit of luck, not to mention some better refereeing, we could still be on to winning a treble, yet despite our injuries this season, most are ready to have a go. Even at Gildart, who for me has done little wrong all season.
Get a grip and remember what it was like in the early 2000s, when we rarely even challenged for trophies and could have been relegated!

Our attack has been poor for several seasons now and we have underachieved. Wane should have been replaced after the double because since then it has been downward.

Injuries made some difference but not a significant one. Mac was a better attacker under Madge and went backwards under Wane to become a tackling machine just as Powell does now. I feel sorry for our players led by such a poor coach. Thurston would look mediocre under Wane let alone Smith.

Hull and Warrington deserve to be at Wembley as the 2 best teams this seasn but neither are amazing. I would opt for Wire at Wembley

Takes the cherry n white specs off. And accusing people of having a God given right to win is pathetic.

Its you who needs to get a grip. On reality.
